The ultimate ocean pool and harbour experience in iconic Sydney.

A 5 day combination of walking, swimming and exploring new pools every day including the famous Bondi Icebergs and North Sydney pool beneath the Sydney Harbour Bridge.

The aim is to complete 2-3 swims each day, you swim as far as you want - the goal is to embrace the heritage and story behind each unique pool.

We have devised a unique swim program for each location and you can complete as much as you wish, whether it’s a dip, a pootle with fins, or a 3k epic - the choice is yours.

The final itinerary may be subject to change based on weather conditions, and optimum water conditions and replacement pools will be used if necessary due to safety reasons or water quality.

The final holiday may be subject to change based on hotel variability in pricing. The sooner you book the cheaper it is. The price you pay will be that displayed above on the day you book, and confirmed by email at the time of booking.

No swim is the same, we visit some of Sydney’s most iconic and picturesque ocean and harbour pools.

Who is this holiday for 

This trip is for those seeking a swim adventure with people who want to do the same. At each pool we will provide you with the history of the pool and a suggested session to swim there inspired by past swimmers. You can therefore swim as far or little as you wish in each location.

You do not require open water experience to come on this trip but do need to have enough fitness to walk 6km on uneven terrain interspersed with swimming, have enough confidence to swim in deep water unaided and be willing to share a bathroom and bedroom if you choose a twin share.

  • 5 nights’ accommodation in a twin share or single room at the Crowne Plaza Coogee.
  • Boat Cruise around Sydney Harbour.
  • Pool entry fees to each location.
  • An Oyster (travel) card for you to embrace city living on Sydneys ferries, trains and busses.
  • Coach hire from our hotel across Sydney on 2 mornings.
  • Breakfast each morning - indulge in the fabulous buffet breakfast at our hotel.
  • Dinner on Monday night and lunch aboard our harbour launch on Friday.
  • Fabulous merchandise to make your swimming holiday just that little more special.

What's not included 

  • Travel to and from Crowne Plaza Hotel, Sydney.
  • All meals and alcohol except those mentioned above.
  • Great weather. Our itinerary cannot be fixed as weather conditions require us to be flexible however the beauty of a Swimming Women holiday is that even though it may rain it wont dampen our spirits or sense of adventure.
  • This is not a swim coaching holiday however we will give you some pointers to help your swimming, made fun in the many ocean pools we encounter.

Day 1  

Travel to Sydney.

Check in from 3pm at The Crown Plaza, Coogee beach.

Explore the area around Coogee and get a good nights sleep for a fun packed few days ahead.

Day 2
Swim in four of the most iconic ocean pools and finish the day with a fabulous group dinner at the amazing 'Sugar Cane' restaurant.

We'll be walking the famous Coogee to Bondi coastal path, and stopping to swim at Giles Baths, Bronte, Clovelly and then finally the Icebergs Club. Along the way we'll take time for lunch, sightseeing and selfies.

•  It’s a casual 6km walk with amazing views (some sections have stairs).
• On the route there are numerous water filling locations, toilets and plenty of food/ coffee options to choose from.

Day 3
Beginning with a swim at Dawn Fraser baths in Balmain we then cruise the harbour on our own private launch for lunch and sightseeing before an afternoon swim at the famous North Sydney pool under the Harbour Bridge.

The evening is yours to relax and explore this amazing city.

McIvers Ladies Baths.

Day 4
Staying close to our Coogee base, we start our day with a sunrise swim at McIvers Ladies baths. After breakfast we head south to Maroubra to swim at Mahon pool, and then walk north to enjoy the fabulous Wylies Baths. There is so much to see and enjoy.

The afternoon is yours to enjoy Sydney as you wish, relax, shop or explore more pools to the south.

Day 5

On our last full day in Sydney we travel to the north shore for a different perspective. Swimming at South Curl Curl and Freshwater rock pool, we then explore the ocean, and coast within the Cabbage Tree Bay Aquatic Reserve. We head back to Coogee with a ride on the Manly ferry (Charlottes favourite) taking in the harbour in the heart of the city, We'll finish with a final meal together.

Day 6

We will seize the day and take a swim in our favourite local pool, close to the hotel before a final breakfast and cheerio by 9am. Hotel check out is 10am.
